A&A Legs - prep work

I've been working on the A&A legs over the last few weeks. Car body filler has come in handy to hide the ridges of the layers of each leg - now I just need to sand them down

R2 Dome

My R2 dome is coming along nicely - just need to sort electronics now

 

X-Wing at EuroDisney

We went to Disneyland near Paris at the weekend and at the Star Tours ride they had a full size X-Wing fighter

 

R&J Dome

R&J Dome has finally arrived and it was well worth the wait!!!!!

Front skins painted and mounted onto the frame. The frame now includes the jag stops and bottom ring. All parts loosely fitted except utility arms

I've now finished painting the holo projectors 

John Sherrell's aluminium skins have arrived and I've started work on them. Here you can see the skins loosely connected with some of the resin parts 

Well it has finally arrived - thanks to Matt Coatney for sending the R2 frame from the states.
After a couple of evenings building and working out what goes where we have an almost complete upside down A&A frame!!!
Hopefully next week the skins should arrive

Guy Averett's R2 dome drive arrived a couple of days ago - pity there's no dome or frame to attach it to yet!!!
