I picked up a cheap key ring which has the sound clip for Princess Leia - Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope and have glued one of my servos onto it and will be fixing it inside my droid shortly Just need to sort out a hologram projector next!!!
Over the past 2 weekends I have taken my R2 down to Legoland for their Star Wars events The first day a kid jumped on my R2 from the side and managed to split the A&A leg!!!! After some repairs I managed to get it back out in the park for the Sunday and for the following weekend On Sunday 8th Warwick Davis visited the park and joined the Rebel Legion and the UK Garrison for many photos

Not far from being finished now I just need to sort the feet alignment, add a periscope and the rear logics lighting I will also be weathering it slightly - just to look a bit more real oh and get a new o ring for my dome drive as i lost mine and am currently using an elastic band which doesn't give enough traction
I was so proud to marry Caroline this year on May 25th and yes we've done the normal wedding photos but also I thought we couldn't go without sharing it with the rest of my family.....
After a couple of weeks worth of spray painting I put 3po back together and this is how he's looking The metallic paint looks great but its hard not to leave your finger prints all over the place Hopefully I'll get the head finished by the end of the weekend as well
Today I bought a Threepio from Jeff of the UK Garrison and picked it up from him in Bristol This is the one that was in the Droid Builders Area in Celebration Europe. Over the next week or so I will be spraying it gold You can see in this picture that it came with a mannequin made from pvc piping
Added the radio control gear into my R2 today My brother helped with sorting the motors and feet I've still got quite a bit of work to do to sort the feet and make them more sturdy and stable The motor holders are A&A and its got scooter motors running at 12V I'm using the Viper speed controllers and HiTec radio gear
I've just taken delivery of my new MR play.com exclusive budget ANH helmet. Its a pretty good helmet especially as it only cost 60 quid! Not sure whether it'll be accepted as it is by the UK Garrison though.
Here you can see it standing next to the FX helmet. (FX on left)
After messing around with various mp3 players and speakers I decided to go with the Hyperdyne Labs sound board with IR motion detection I have installed it into the body just behind the vents
